Goose’s Live at The Salt Shed Weekend

On April 14 and 15, 2023, Goose played its first two-night run at The Salt Shed. The Chicago weekend was recorded and released as the 30-track Live at The Salt Shed.

The collection preserves both concerts plus a 31-minute “Chicago Soundcheck Jam.” Long versions of “Hungersite,” “Pancakes” and “Dripfield” sit beside a cover of the Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

The official release placed The Salt Shed in Goose’s recorded catalogue while the venue itself was still new. Two nights were enough to establish a document of how the band used the room.
