On August 25, 2025, Tu-Ner walked into Stone Church in Brattleboro with a setup built for a lot of sound from three people. Trey Gunn brought Warr guitar, Markus Reuter touch guitar, and Pat Mastelotto drums and percussion.
The night became Rendezvous Rodeo, released the following July. Its programme reaches into the musicians’ wider histories with pieces including The ConstruKction of Light, Larks’ Tongues in Aspic, Part 4 and Level 5. What happened in the converted church was preserved as more than a tour stop: one Vermont performance became a complete live record, carrying the room into the trio’s catalogue nearly a year later.
