Music Hall of Williamsburg is a 650-capacity room where New York audiences regularly catch touring indie acts before their next jump in scale. Its balcony, compact floor and North 6th Street location make it a modern counterpart to Bowery Ballroom.
Getting there
Bedford Avenue on the L is the most direct subway stop; the G at Nassau Avenue is also walkable. Driving in Williamsburg adds more trouble than value.
Bag policy
Bags up to the size of an average backpack are allowed and do not need to be clear. Large backpacks, suitcases, beach bags and equipment bags are prohibited. Bags are searched at entry.
Local tips
The balcony rail is excellent but limited, and the main floor fills from the stage back. Williamsburg has endless pre-show options, but leave enough time for entry screening.
