Dodger Stadium is difficult to approach casually by car once a major event is close to doors. Use any event shuttle service running from Union Station or drive with prepaid parking and the correct gate in your navigation. The hill and limited access roads make the final mile the slow part.

The hill is the issue. There is no rail station at the gates and most concertgoers drive or rideshare, so parking and exit traffic can take a long time. Eat in Echo Park, Chinatown or elsewhere before climbing into the stadium traffic rather than expecting an easy walk back out.
