Take the CTA Red Line to Addison for the cleanest trip to Wrigley Field. The ballpark sits in a dense neighborhood with limited parking, so driving is usually the least attractive option. Once in Wrigleyville, everything is close enough to handle on foot.

Take the Red Line to Addison and leave the car somewhere else. Wrigleyville is built for pre-show food and drinks, but it gets extremely crowded after the encore. If you want a quieter exit, walk a few blocks north or south before deciding where to stop.
