Wrigley Field opened in 1914 and only became a regular concert venue many decades later, which is exactly why shows there feel special. The ivy, manual scoreboard, rooftops and neighborhood streets remain visible parts of the experience even when the baseball field is covered by staging.
Getting there
Take the CTA Red Line to Addison for the cleanest trip to Wrigley Field. The ballpark sits in a dense neighborhood with limited parking, so driving is usually the least attractive option. Once in Wrigleyville, everything is close enough to handle on foot.
Bag policy
Check the specific Wrigley Field event page—not an old social post—for the active bag rule. Bring only essentials unless the venue explicitly allows a larger or clear bag for that performance.
Local tips
Take the Red Line to Addison and leave the car somewhere else. Wrigleyville is built for pre-show food and drinks, but it gets extremely crowded after the encore. If you want a quieter exit, walk a few blocks north or south before deciding where to stop.
