United Center

The United Center has been Chicago’s arena heavyweight since 1994, home to the Bulls and Blackhawks and a regular destination for tours that can fill one of the largest arena footprints in the country. Its concert history is long enough now that the building has become part of the city’s music memory, not just a sports address.

The United Center is west of the Loop and not directly on an L stop, so plan the last part of the trip. The Green and Pink lines get you into the area, then use a bus, rideshare or walk from the West Loop. Driving is straightforward when parking is reserved in advance.

Entry screening at United Center follows the rule posted for the event configuration. Review the official venue policy on show day, especially if you need a medical, parenting or accessibility exception.

The arena is west of the Loop, not on top of an L station, so plan the final leg instead of assuming rail drops you at the door. The West Loop is a better place to eat before the show, then use a bus, rideshare or a manageable walk from the Green or Pink Line.
