The Regency Ballroom

The Regency is a 1,400-capacity neoclassical ballroom with a sprung wood floor, 35-foot ceilings, horseshoe balcony and built-in stage.

Use the 49 Van Ness bus or the California Street cable car and walk to Sutter. Nearby garages exist, but their closing times and event rates should be checked before parking.

The venue directs guests to its current ‘What can I bring’ rules before each show. Coat check is upstairs off the rotunda and costs $5 per item.

The ballroom is upstairs, so entry includes stairs or an elevator queue. Coat check is operationally important here, not decorative, and no re-entry is normally allowed.
