Know Before You Go

Why it matters

The Great Hall is a restored 1890 Queen West landmark with two useful concert rooms: the high-ceilinged Main Hall and the smaller Longboat Hall. It gives touring indie, folk and experimental acts a setting that feels architectural rather than anonymous.

Getting there

The 501 Queen streetcar stops close to Queen and Dovercourt. The Ossington bus connects from Line 2, and paid street or Green P parking is limited in the surrounding residential blocks.

Bag policy

The Great Hall’s published FAQ does not specify bag-size limits or a clear-bag requirement. Check your event organiser’s instructions before bringing a backpack or large bag.

Local tips

Check which room is hosting the show because Main Hall and Longboat Hall have different entrances, sightlines and capacities. The Queen West strip supplies plenty of food, but lines build quickly at sold-out general-admission shows.
