TD Garden

TD Garden replaced the old Boston Garden in 1995, but it inherited much of the same civic weight. It is home to the Bruins and Celtics, a regular stop for the biggest tours in New England, and one of the rare arenas built directly over a major train station.

North Station is directly under TD Garden, with the Green Line, Orange Line and commuter rail feeding the building. Driving works, but Causeway Street tightens quickly around event time, so rail is the easier option from most of Boston.

TD Garden's published event details and guest-services page are the final authority for bags. Concert rules can differ from sports or festival setups, so verify the current size limit and prohibited-items list before packing.

North Station is underneath the building, so commuter rail plus the Green or Orange Line usually beats driving. The North End is close enough for dinner before the show, but give yourself extra walking time because Causeway Street and the station concourse get packed around doors.
