Why it matters

Stubb’s is one of Austin’s defining outdoor rooms: barbecue out front, a stage out back, and a location that still feels connected to the Red River music district.

Getting there

The venue is downtown at 8th and Red River. There is no dedicated parking lot, so use paid garages, lots, street parking or rideshare. On busy nights, rideshare is usually simpler.

Bag policy

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 in are allowed, plus small non-clear clutches. The venue publishes slightly different clutch dimensions in different FAQ passages, so keep the clutch very small and check the event page.

Local tips

It is Austin: heat matters. Hydrate before doors and do not assume the temperature will be comfortable because the show starts after sunset. Red River makes it easy to grab food or another show nearby.
