Know Before You Go

Why it matters

Roadrunner is a modern 3,500-capacity room built to solve Boston's gap between theatres and arenas. Its wide floor, deep stage and layered viewing platforms make large general-admission shows work better than a converted hall.

Getting there

Roadrunner has no dedicated parking. The venue recommends the public garages at 71, 40 or 80 Guest Street; Boston Landing station and MBTA buses 57, 64 and 86 also serve the area.

Bag policy

Small bags are permitted and searched. Bags larger than 14 x 14 in, including backpacks, briefcases, luggage and duffels, are prohibited and cannot be held at coat check.

Local tips

The floor is large but the elevated side and rear positions can provide better sightlines. Boston Landing empties quickly after events, so know the commuter rail schedule or arrange pickup away from the main doors.
