Petco Park

Petco Park opened in 2004 and was designed into San Diego’s East Village rather than isolated from it. The historic Western Metal Supply building incorporated into left field gives the park real architectural character, while downtown location makes concert nights easy to extend into the Gaslamp Quarter.

Petco Park is in downtown San Diego and is easy to reach by trolley or on foot from the Gaslamp Quarter. Drivers have many downtown garages, but transit avoids the traffic that forms around the ballpark once the show ends.

Before travelling to Petco Park, open its official A–Z, FAQ or guest guide and confirm the concert's bag dimensions. A small essentials-only setup is the safest choice when an event notice is more restrictive.

Use the trolley or walk from downtown. Gaslamp and East Village have more pre-show options than you could reasonably use, so there is little reason to arrive by car from a central hotel. Check which gate serves field seating because concert entry differs from baseball.
