Metro

Metro is one of Chicago's foundational independent rock rooms, with a 1980s lineage that includes early shows by major alternative artists and continued support for local bands. The balcony and close stage make 1,100 people feel like a single audience.

The venue is across from Wrigley Field. Take the Red Line to Addison; driving is difficult and Cubs games can make neighbourhood parking effectively unavailable.

The Metro in Chicago has the following bag policy. Backpacks and bags larger than 9 x 11 in must be checked. Bags may be inspected at security's discretion; coat and bag check is available for a fee.

Check the Wrigley schedule even on a concert night. The balcony rail goes first, the main floor fills quickly and Smartbar downstairs may have a separate late event.
