Why it matters

Massey Hall is one of Canada’s essential music rooms. The restoration modernized the building without stripping away the red-brick character and sense of history that made the room matter in the first place.

Getting there

The hall is downtown at Victoria and Shuter, close to Queen and Dundas subway stations and multiple streetcar routes. Driving is possible through nearby public garages, but transit is usually simpler.

Bag policy

Bags larger than 14 x 14 x 6 in are not permitted. Allowed bags must be soft-sided and fit completely under your seat. All bags are subject to screening.

Local tips

Give yourself time to see the building rather than arriving at the last minute. There are plenty of food options around Yonge, Church and St. Lawrence, so the area works well for a full pre-show evening.
