Lumen Field

Seattle, Washington, United States

Lumen Field concert venue in Seattle, Washington

Why it matters

Lumen Field opened in 2002 and gives Seattle a massive open-air room immediately south of downtown. The steep football bowl, roof canopies and views toward the city create a stadium concert that still feels urban rather than detached.

Getting there

Link light rail serves the stadium district, with International District/Chinatown and King Street Station also nearby. Walking from Pioneer Square is straightforward. If you drive, check the Mariners schedule because neighboring T-Mobile Park can double the traffic load.

Bag policy

Check the specific Lumen Field event page—not an old social post—for the active bag rule. Bring only essentials unless the venue explicitly allows a larger or clear bag for that performance.

Local tips

Link light rail, Sounder and Amtrak all serve the stadium district, with International District/Chinatown and King Street Station nearby. Pioneer Square is a natural pre-show stop. Transit is especially valuable because event traffic overlaps with T-Mobile Park when both venues are active.
