Know Before You Go

Why it matters

Franklin Music Hall is Philadelphia's large warehouse room for tours that need more space than a club but less ceremony than a theatre. Its history as the Electric Factory remains part of the city's rock identity.

Getting there

The venue is on North 7th Street near Callowhill. Spring Garden station on the Market-Frankford Line is walkable; reserve parking in advance if driving.

Bag policy

Small bags are admitted after a security search. Bags larger than 14 × 14 inches are prohibited; the venue also lists backpacks, briefcases, luggage and duffel bags among prohibited oversized items. The venue cannot store prohibited bags.

Local tips

The flat floor can be challenging from the rear, so arrive early or use any open raised areas. The surrounding blocks are quieter after shows than Center City, making a planned route home important.
