Fenway Park

Fenway Park is a concert venue almost by accident, which is part of the appeal. Baseball’s oldest active major-league park began hosting modern large-scale concerts regularly in the 2000s, and seeing a stage rise above the same brick, steel and Green Monster that define the ballpark gives shows here a setting no arena can copy.

Fenway Park is built into the city, so transit is the better move. The Green Line at Kenmore and Fenway stations puts you within a short walk, and commuter rail service at Lansdowne can also be useful. Driving into the neighborhood for a stadium concert is rarely worth it.

Take the Green Line to Kenmore or the commuter rail to Lansdowne if possible. Parking around Fenway is expensive and the streets lock up after large shows. Lansdowne Street and the Fenway neighborhood have plenty to do beforehand, so arrive early and make the area part of the night.
