Twenty One Pilots

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun make Twenty One Pilots a two-person band with an unusually wide instrumental palette: piano, bass, drums, ukulele and programmed electronics. Vessel and Blurryface move between sung melodies, rap verses and abrupt rhythmic changes. Trench and Clancy extend a fictional world across songs and videos, while Joseph's writing returns to insecurity, mental health and the search for connection.
