Rising Appalachia

Rising Appalachia is led by sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith, who grew up in Atlanta around fiddle tunes, harmony singing and folk traditions before absorbing music through years of travel and song collecting. Their work blends Southern folk, New Orleans influence and global roots music with close vocal harmony, storytelling and an independent touring ethos built around community rather than conventional industry machinery.
