Neil Diamond

Neil Diamond wrote songs for other singers before records such as Solitary Man and Cherry, Cherry established his own voice. His catalogue moves between compact pop writing and larger arrangements, from Sweet Caroline to I Am... I Said. Hot August Night captures his 1972 Greek Theatre concerts, where the band and orchestra gave those songs room to stretch in front of a live audience.
