LCD Soundsystem

LCD Soundsystem began as James Murphy's New York recording project, turning disco, post-punk and electronic music into songs that could be dryly self-aware and physically danceable at the same time. The group's long-form grooves, live-band arrangements and albums from the 2005 debut through Sound of Silver and This Is Happening helped define the 2000s dance-rock revival.
