The current Yankee Stadium opened in 2009 across the street from the original ballpark and carries one of the most recognizable names in American sports. Concerts are relatively selective here, which makes a stadium show in the Bronx feel more like an event than a routine tour stop.

The 161st Street-Yankee Stadium subway station is the obvious arrival for a concert in the Bronx, with multiple subway lines serving the stop. Metro-North can also be useful via the nearby station. Skip the car unless your route makes transit impractical.

The subway is the move. The 4 and D trains serve 161st Street-Yankee Stadium, with Metro-North also stopping nearby. Driving adds tolls, parking cost and post-show traffic, while the train puts you directly into the crowd flow the venue is designed around.
