Why it matters

The Berkeley Greek is a classic open-air college amphitheatre with excellent sightlines, strong Bay Area history and a setting that feels more like a campus landmark than a touring stop.

Getting there

Transit is usually easier than driving. Downtown Berkeley BART is walkable, though the final approach climbs toward campus. UC Berkeley event parking is available but fills quickly.

Bag policy

Small personal bags and backpacks are permitted. Large bags, large backpacks, large purses and suitcases are not. Policies can vary by event, so check the show page if you are bringing anything beyond a small day bag.

Local tips

Dress in layers. Bay Area evenings can cool off quickly even after a warm afternoon. If you are walking from BART, give yourself time for the uphill section and grab food downtown before heading to the venue.
