The Bluebird Cafe

The Bluebird Cafe is a 90-seat listening room hidden inside an unassuming Green Hills strip mall. Its songwriter-in-the-round performances place the songs and their creators at the centre of the experience, making it one of Nashville’s most influential rooms despite its tiny size.

The Bluebird is in Green Hills rather than downtown Nashville. Traffic can be slow, parking is limited, and rideshare is often the least stressful option.

Bags larger than a normal backpack are not permitted. Because the room is extremely small, bring as little as possible.

This is a listening room, not a drop-in bar. Reservations and arrival timing matter, and the small room means every extra bag, coat and late arrival is more noticeable.
