Why it matters
Terminal 5 is a large multi-level Manhattan club that can hold roughly 3,000 people without becoming an arena. Its scale attracts major alternative, electronic and hip-hop tours, while three balcony levels create more viewing options than a flat warehouse.
Getting there
The venue is on West 56th Street near Eleventh Avenue. Columbus Circle subway lines are a long walk east, so allow time; rideshare congestion is heavy at closing.
Bag policy
Bags up to the size of an average backpack are allowed and do not need to be clear. Large backpacks, suitcases, beach bags and equipment bags are prohibited. Bags are searched at entry.
Local tips
Sightlines on the main floor can be difficult from the back. Arrive early for a balcony rail or move between levels instead of forcing a view through the densest part of the crowd.
