Target Center

Target Center has been part of downtown Minneapolis since 1990 and remains one of the Upper Midwest’s essential arena stops. It has survived multiple renovation cycles because the location works: the building is tied directly into the Warehouse District, downtown streets and the skyway system.

Light rail gets you close to Target Center, and the Warehouse District side of downtown is walkable. In winter, the skyway system can help on the way in, but check the late-night hours if you are counting on it after the encore.

Check the specific Target Center event page—not an old social post—for the active bag rule. Bring only essentials unless the venue explicitly allows a larger or clear bag for that performance.

The Warehouse District and Nicollet side of downtown give you plenty of pre-show options within walking distance. Light rail gets you close, and the skyways can be useful in winter, but do not assume every skyway connection will stay open late after a concert.
