T-Mobile Center opened in 2007 without a permanent major-league tenant, which made concerts and touring events central to its identity from day one. Sitting beside the Power & Light District, it functions as Kansas City’s main big-room stage rather than simply a sports arena that also books music.

The free KC Streetcar gets you close to T-Mobile Center, and downtown Kansas City is easy to navigate on foot once you arrive. If you are staying in the core, leave the car parked. After the show, walk away from Power & Light before ordering a rideshare.
