South Side Ballroom

South Side Ballroom is a three-tier, 27,000-square-foot room in the Gilley’s Dallas complex. It can scale from a 2,500-person layout to a 4,000-person maximum for large standing tours.

Use Cedars station on DART Rail and walk south, or use the paid lots around the Gilley's complex. Post-show rideshare congestion is easier to manage from a preselected pickup point away from the front doors.

All bags are searched. Allowed bags are a single-compartment clutch or wallet up to 6 x 9 inches, or a clear plastic or vinyl bag up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches.

The room is broad and flat, so a central position far back can be visually poor despite good production. Side positions or early arrival often work better than standing directly behind the main crowd.
