SOMA San Diego

SOMA is San Diego's defining all-ages alternative venue, with a 2,300-capacity mainstage and smaller side stage. Its importance comes from decades of punk, emo and rock shows accessible to fans under 21.

The venue is beside Pechanga Arena in the Midway district. Use the Old Town Transit Center plus a bus connection, or drive and confirm event parking because arena traffic can overlap.

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches are allowed. Small clutches up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches are also permitted.

Check whether the event uses the mainstage or side stage. The building is a converted cinema, and the two rooms have radically different capacities and crowd flow.
