Why it matters

To a lot of longtime fans, it is still Deer Creek. The huge lawn, summer touring history and Indianapolis-area location have made it a recurring stop for generations of jam and rock audiences.

Getting there

Driving is the normal choice. Parking now requires a pass for many events and lots open before gates. Buy parking in advance if you are driving and expect a slow exit after large shows.

Bag policy

Clear plastic or vinyl tote bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 in are allowed, plus small non-clear clutches up to 6 x 9 in. Other bag types are not permitted.

Local tips

The parking lot is part of the night, so arrive with time to spare. If you are on the lawn, check the current chair policy before leaving home. Keep your post-show expectations realistic: thousands of cars are leaving at once.
