Queen Elizabeth Theatre is Vancouver's principal large proscenium theatre, handling major concerts, Broadway tours, dance and comedy in a 2,765-seat room with clear separation between orchestra and balcony levels.
Getting there
Use Stadium-Chinatown station and walk west, or Vancouver City Centre and walk east. The theatre faces šxʷƛ̓exən Xwtl'a7shn Square, with underground parking shared by other downtown cultural venues.
Bag policy
Large bags must be checked at coat check. Security may confiscate items it considers dangerous.
Local tips
The balcony is broad and substantially elevated above the orchestra. Confirm the level, not just the row, and use the nearby plaza as a meeting point because the lobby becomes crowded near curtain.
