Paycom Center concert venue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Why it matters

Paycom Center opened in 2002 and became far more important when the Thunder arrived in 2008. It now anchors Oklahoma City’s biggest indoor events while sitting between downtown and Bricktown, two areas that make an arena night easy to extend before or after the show.

Getting there

Paycom Center is in the downtown Oklahoma City core beside Bricktown and the convention district. The streetcar can handle part of the trip, while drivers have multiple central garages. Pick parking based on the direction you need to leave after the show, not simply distance to the door.

Bag policy

Paycom Center's published event details and guest-services page are the final authority for bags. Concert rules can differ from sports or festival setups, so verify the current size limit and prohibited-items list before packing.

Local tips

Bricktown is the obvious place to eat before doors, and the Oklahoma City Streetcar can help with the downtown leg. If you drive, pick a garage based on your route home rather than proximity to the arena because the closest exits clog first.
