Pacific Coliseum

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Pacific Coliseum concert venue in Vancouver, British Columbia

Why it matters

Pacific Coliseum opened in 1968 and carries more Vancouver history than most current arenas. It was the Canucks’ original NHL home, hosted Game 4 of the 1972 Summit Series and has seen decades of major concerts, all under the distinctive white roof at the PNE grounds.

Getting there

Pacific Coliseum is on the PNE grounds in East Vancouver rather than downtown. Buses serve the site, while drivers should follow event-specific PNE parking instructions. If another PNE event is running, allow extra time for the Hastings Street approach.

Bag policy

Entry screening at Pacific Coliseum follows the rule posted for the event configuration. Review the official venue policy on show day, especially if you need a medical, parenting or accessibility exception.

Local tips

There is no SkyTrain station at the door, so most transit trips finish by bus along Hastings Street. If you drive, use the PNE parking plan for the event rather than neighborhood streets. Commercial Drive and East Vancouver offer better pre-show food than the immediate grounds.
