New City Gas

New City Gas occupies a nineteenth-century industrial complex in Griffintown. Its Main Room can hold up to 2,500 people in show configuration, with balconies, multiple bars and a production setup suited to large electronic events.

The venue is in Griffintown near the REM's Griffintown-Bernard-Landry station and several bus routes. Night traffic around Peel Basin can be slow, so establish a rideshare pickup point away from the main doors.

Large bags and backpacks should be left elsewhere. Small bags are searched, and individual events may impose additional size or prohibited-item rules.

The main room is very large and the crowd concentrates toward the stage. Balcony access and VIP areas are ticket-dependent, and coat-check lines can be significant in winter.
