Moody Center opened in 2022 on the University of Texas campus with concerts built into the brief from the beginning. Its flexible bowl can feel smaller for selected shows, while the full setup brings major arena tours into central Austin without using the older Erwin Center footprint.

Moody Center sits between the University of Texas campus and downtown Austin. Walking, bus service or a reserved campus garage all work better than improvising on I-35 near doors. If you drive, build Austin traffic into the schedule even for a short trip.

Entry screening at Moody Center follows the rule posted for the event configuration. Review the official venue policy on show day, especially if you need a medical, parenting or accessibility exception.

The arena sits between the UT campus and downtown, so walking from central Austin is realistic if the weather cooperates. I-35 traffic can turn a short drive into a long one on event nights, making a pre-booked campus garage, bus or planned drop-off much safer than improvising.
