Tuscaloosa’s riverfront amphitheatre opened in 2011 and was renamed Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater in 2023. Its position on the Black Warrior River, close to downtown and the University of Alabama, gives touring shows a setting that feels much more specific than a generic fairgrounds shed.
