Historic Scoot Inn

Historic Scoot Inn is one of Austin's oldest continuously operating bars, now functioning as an outdoor touring venue that preserves East Austin character while supporting substantially larger crowds than a traditional club.

Use the Plaza Saltillo MetroRail station or east-west bus routes, then walk to East Fourth Street. Parking is limited and residential restrictions are enforced around the venue.

Bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches are allowed. Backpacks and drawstring bags are prohibited. All bags are searched, and non-clear bags may receive extra screening.

Most of the audience area is outdoors. Wear shoes that handle uneven ground, check the forecast and arrive early if you want a position with a clear view rather than relying on elevation.
