Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater opened in 2021 on the former Bridgeport ballpark site and brought a modern covered outdoor room to the center of the city. The sweeping canopy, smaller scale and rail access make it a very different Connecticut concert experience from the much larger Meadows in Hartford.

Bridgeport's Metro-North station is within walking distance of Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater, making rail a strong option from New Haven, Stamford and New York. Drivers can use downtown parking, but I-95 traffic makes the train worth checking first.
