Golden 1 Center

Golden 1 Center opened in 2016 as the anchor of Downtown Commons and helped pull Sacramento’s entertainment center back toward the city core. The Kings’ arena was built with concerts in mind, and its downtown location makes it far easier to pair a show with the rest of the city than the old suburban arena.

Light rail serves downtown Sacramento and Sacramento Valley Station is walkable from Golden 1 Center. Drivers can use DOCO garages, but parking a few blocks away often produces a faster post-show exit than going directly under the complex.

Before travelling to Golden 1 Center, open its official A–Z, FAQ or guest guide and confirm the concert's bag dimensions. A small essentials-only setup is the safest choice when an event notice is more restrictive.

DOCO surrounds the building, so pre-show food is easy without moving the car. Light rail serves downtown and Sacramento Valley Station is walkable for regional trains. If you drive, a garage a few blocks away can be faster to exit than the ones directly under the complex.
