Footprint Center concert venue in Phoenix, Arizona

Why it matters

Footprint Center opened in 1992 and has kept its place as Phoenix’s downtown arena through repeated renovations and name changes. Home to the Suns, it is one of the older NBA buildings still operating in its original central-city location, which gives it an advantage on concert nights.

Getting there

Valley Metro Rail gets you into downtown Phoenix within a few blocks of Footprint Center. Once you are in the Jefferson and Washington corridor, stay on foot. Driving is workable, but downtown event parking is rarely worth it if rail already fits your route.

Bag policy

Before travelling to Footprint Center, open its official A–Z, FAQ or guest guide and confirm the concert's bag dimensions. A small essentials-only setup is the safest choice when an event notice is more restrictive.

Local tips

Valley Metro Rail runs through downtown within a few blocks of the arena and is usually easier than dealing with event parking. Roosevelt Row is farther north, while the immediate downtown blocks around Jefferson and Washington are the simplest choice for a quick meal before doors.
