FedExForum opened in 2004 just off Beale Street and feels unusually connected to the musical identity of its city. It is home to the Grizzlies, but placing Memphis’s biggest indoor room beside one of America’s best-known music streets gives concerts here a context most arenas cannot manufacture.

FedExForum is directly off Beale Street, so downtown visitors can reach it on foot. If you drive, use a garage or lot that lets you leave away from the main Beale pedestrian flow. The final blocks get crowded quickly after a full arena empties.
