Evans Amphitheater at Cain Park

Evans Amphitheater anchors Cain Park’s long-running summer performing-arts season in Cleveland Heights. Built into the park rather than a commercial entertainment district, the roofed stage, fixed seating and lawn give concerts a distinctly civic, neighborhood setting.

Cain Park entrances are at Lee and Superior roads and at Goodnor and Superior roads. The surrounding neighborhoods offer more than 900 free on-street spaces, with additional parking at the Cedar-Lee garage, Cumberland Pool and Delisle Options Center; courtesy vehicles run for an hour before and after performances.

Bags are checked at the gates, and backpacks or large bags over 12 by 6 by 12 inches are prohibited. Factory-sealed or empty water bottles are allowed, but other outside beverages and professional recording equipment are not.

Allow time for a walk through the park, especially if you park in the surrounding neighborhood. Courtesy vehicles connect the park entrances with the venue before and after shows, and outdoor conditions can change quickly, so check the forecast and event notice before leaving.
