Emo's Austin

Emo's is Austin's main large club for alternative, punk, metal, hip-hop and electronic tours. Although it moved from its historic Red River location, the Riverside room preserves the name's place in the city's loud-music ecosystem.

The venue is on East Riverside Drive. CapMetro buses serve the corridor; driving and rideshare are common, with event parking controlled around the site.

The maximum bag size is 12 × 6 × 12 inches. Backpacks and drawstring bags are prohibited. Bags are inspected on entry, and non-clear bags may receive extra screening.

Do not navigate to the former downtown address. The current room is mostly standing, and post-show rideshare pickup is easier if you walk away from the main exit.
