Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre

Opened in 1990 as World Music Theatre, Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre remains one of Chicago’s biggest summer concert stops. Its covered pavilion and broad lawn are built for major touring packages rather than an intimate city-club experience.

Find the venue at 19100 South Ridgeland Avenue in Tinley Park. This is primarily a driving venue: purchase parking in advance, follow the lot assigned to your pass and expect the lots to open about an hour before gates unless the event page states otherwise.

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches are permitted, along with small non-clear clutches up to 6 by 9 inches. Other bags are prohibited and all permitted bags are searched.

Build the exit into your night. The amphitheatre sits away from Chicago’s rail-centered concert district, and Ridgeland Avenue can back up after a full show. Download tickets before arrival, note your parking section and do not bring a lawn chair or umbrella.
