CMAC

CMAC, formally the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center, has been part of the Finger Lakes concert circuit since the 1980s. Its campus setting in Canandaigua gives Rochester-area fans a large summer room without losing the relaxed scale of a regional outdoor venue.

CMAC is on the SUNY Finger Lakes campus outside downtown Canandaigua, so plan on driving. Use the venue's event parking and leave enough time for local traffic on the final approach rather than assuming the short distance from town will stay quick.

Downtown Canandaigua and the lakefront are better places to eat before the show than the college campus. This is still a driving venue, so arrive before the peak parking rush. If you have lawn seats, prepare for Finger Lakes weather rather than assuming a warm afternoon will hold all night.
