Canadian Tire Centre is a major live-event stop in Ottawa, where arrival and entry planning can matter almost as much as the seat. It is a major suburban arena with significant parking and transport questions.

Getting there

Canadian Tire Centre is in Kanata, well west of downtown Ottawa. Driving, event transit and rideshare are the main options; build in time for Highway 417 traffic and the large parking campus.

Bag policy

Standard entry is limited to small clutch/wallet styles under roughly 4" x 6" x 1.5". Backpacks, hard-sided bags and camera bags are prohibited; medical and diaper exceptions are screened.

Local tips

If you are staying downtown, this is not a quick walkable arena trip. Plan the transportation both ways before the show, especially if you are relying on transit.
