Barclays Center concert venue in Brooklyn, New York

Why it matters

Barclays Center put a major arena at one of Brooklyn’s busiest crossroads when it opened in 2012. It is big enough for the largest tours, but the location at Atlantic and Flatbush gives it a street-level Brooklyn energy that suburban arenas never really get.

Getting there

Atlantic Terminal is the arrival point to use. Multiple subway lines and the LIRR stop beside Barclays Center, so rail is usually easier than driving into the Atlantic and Flatbush traffic. If you do drive, reserve a garage before you reach Brooklyn.

Bag policy

Before travelling to Barclays Center, open its official A–Z, FAQ or guest guide and confirm the concert's bag dimensions. A small essentials-only setup is the safest choice when an event notice is more restrictive.

Local tips

Take the subway or LIRR if you can. Atlantic Terminal sits beside the arena and is served by multiple subway lines, which is much easier than hunting for parking around Flatbush Avenue. Fort Greene and Park Slope both give you better pre-show options than waiting inside the arena complex.
