Ball Arena

Ball Arena opened in 1999 as the Pepsi Center and has been Denver’s main arena ever since, home to the Nuggets, Avalanche and a steady run of major tours. Its Central Platte Valley location puts it between downtown, the Auraria campus and the river rather than out in a distant sports complex.

RTD light rail stops at Ball Arena/Elitch Gardens, making it the simplest arrival from much of Denver. Union Station and LoDo are close enough to walk from. If you drive, reserve parking and expect the Auraria and downtown road network to load up before major shows.
