Amalie Arena has anchored Tampa’s Channelside waterfront since 1996. The Lightning’s success has given the building a strong local identity, while its downtown location keeps it in regular rotation for the largest tours moving through Florida.

Use the TECO streetcar or walk through downtown Tampa if you are already near the Riverwalk or Ybor corridor. Drivers have several garages around the arena, but leaving the car parked while you eat or walk the waterfront is usually easier than moving it twice.

Before travelling to Amalie Arena, open its official A–Z, FAQ or guest guide and confirm the concert's bag dimensions. A small essentials-only setup is the safest choice when an event notice is more restrictive.

The free TECO streetcar can be useful from Ybor City and downtown, and the Riverwalk side of the city is close enough to make a full evening of it. Parking garages empty slowly after major shows, so walking to dinner or drinks before heading home can save some frustration.
