Legacy / Inactive

Toby Keith wrote his breakthrough single Should've Been a Cowboy, released in 1993, and kept songwriting central to a career that ranged from honky-tonk humour to patriotic anthems. How Do You Like Me Now?!, I Love This Bar and As Good as I Once Was show the conversational delivery and sharp punchlines behind his country hits. His later Don't Let the Old Man In took a quieter approach to age and persistence.
